The Dell Pro 14 Premium is Dell’s flagship compact professional laptop for users who want an exceptionally refined work machine without sacrificing portability. It combines a premium lightweight chassis, an outstanding high-resolution OLED touchscreen and powerful AI-assisted processing into a laptop made for executives, consultants, developers and professionals who work wherever the day takes them.

This configuration is particularly impressive for users who spend long periods multitasking, working across business applications, joining video meetings or travelling between workplaces. Its vivid touchscreen provides a genuinely premium viewing experience, while its large memory capacity makes demanding professional multitasking feel effortless.

It is also a Copilot+ PC, meaning it contains dedicated AI processing hardware for supported local AI features rather than relying entirely on traditional CPU processing. Combined with enterprise-grade Intel vPro management, Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 and Dell’s advanced conferencing hardware, this is a laptop aimed at professionals who want premium mobility rather than merely adequate portability. Dell describes the PA14260 as its ultralight premium 14-inch commercial AI PC for highly mobile professionals.

Purchase this product if:

• You want an ultra-premium professional laptop for consulting, management, business travel, development and demanding multitasking, while keeping the computer compact enough to carry every day.
• You value an exceptional high-resolution OLED touchscreen for sharper text, richer colour, presentations, media and direct touch interaction rather than settling for a conventional office display.
• You want a modern Copilot+ AI PC with 32GB memory, Intel vPro, Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 and advanced conferencing features for a long-term professional setup.

Avoid purchasing this product if:

• Your main objective is demanding AAA gaming, complex 3D rendering or professional GPU compute requiring a dedicated high-performance graphics card.
• You primarily work from a fixed desk and would make better use of a larger 16-inch workstation rather than paying for an exceptionally light premium 14-inch chassis.
• You only need occasional browsing, documents and email and would not benefit from the OLED touchscreen, 32GB memory, enterprise management and premium mobility features.

What Is This Laptop Best For?

Dell specifies the Core Ultra 5 335 vPro with 8 cores, 12MB cache, up to 4.6GHz and a 47-TOPS NPU, meeting the AI-performance requirement for Copilot+ functionality.

Complete Configuration

Intel Core Ultra 5 335 vPro

The Intel Core Ultra 5 335 vPro is a Series 3 business-oriented AI processor used in Dell’s current premium commercial platform.

Dell officially specifies:

• 8 CPU cores
• Up to 4.6GHz Turbo
• 12MB cache
• 47 TOPS NPU
• Intel vPro support

The processor is particularly appropriate for professional workloads where efficiency, responsiveness and AI acceleration matter simultaneously.

Typical uses include:

• Large browser sessions
• Microsoft 365
• Business intelligence applications
• Development environments
• Remote collaboration
• Management applications
• AI-enabled Windows features
• Complex multitasking

Dedicated 47-TOPS AI NPU

A defining feature of this Dell Pro Premium is its dedicated 47-TOPS Neural Processing Unit.

Rather than processing every AI task using the main CPU, compatible software can move suitable AI workloads to dedicated NPU hardware.

Dell ships the platform as a Copilot+ PC, making it suitable for supported Windows AI experiences and other locally accelerated AI software.

For professional users, this platform is designed to support features such as:

• AI-assisted conferencing
• Local AI effects
• Background processing
• Productivity assistants
• On-device AI applications

Integrated Intel Graphics – 4 Xe

The Core Ultra 5 335 vPro configuration uses integrated Intel Graphics with 4 Xe cores, according to Dell’s current official configurator.

This graphics solution is designed around:

• Professional desktop acceleration
• High-resolution displays
• Video playback
• Multi-monitor configurations
• Presentation workloads
• Light creative software
• Casual gaming

It maintains the power efficiency required by a premium ultraportable laptop while providing substantially more capability than a simple display adapter.

32GB LPDDR5x Memory

This configuration includes 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5x memory integrated directly onto the motherboard.

Dell’s PA14260 technical documentation lists the Core Ultra 5 335 vPro platform with:

• LPDDR5x
• Dual-channel operation
• 7467MT/s operating speed for the Core Ultra 5 335 vPro
• 16GB / 32GB / 64GB supported configurations
• Onboard, non-upgradeable memory

The 32GB capacity makes the laptop particularly comfortable for:

• Large Excel files
• Multiple browser windows
• Virtual collaboration platforms
• Development tools
• Creative software
• Business applications running simultaneously

Because the memory is integrated, the installed 32GB cannot be replaced with conventional SODIMM modules later.

512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD

Primary storage is provided by a 512GB M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4 x4 TLC SSD.

Dell officially offers this exact capacity and storage type on the PA14260.

The combination provides fast:

• Windows startup
• Application launches
• Project loading
• File transfers
• Search and indexing

Dell also lists 256GB, 1TB and 2TB configurations within the same platform.

14" 2880 × 1800 Tandem OLED Touchscreen

This is one of the strongest features of the configuration.

Dell’s exact OLED option is:

• 14-inch
• 2880 × 1800
• Tandem OLED
• Touchscreen
• 400 nits
• 100% DCI-P3
• ComfortView Plus
• Low-power design
• Gorilla Glass

Why Tandem OLED matters

Instead of using a conventional LCD backlight, OLED pixels produce their own light. Dell’s Tandem OLED implementation is designed to combine premium image quality with improved efficiency for a commercial ultraportable.

For the user, this translates into:

• Deep blacks
• Strong contrast
• Rich colours
• Excellent video presentation
• Sharp high-resolution text
• Premium presentation quality
• Touch interaction

The 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage is also substantially broader than the 45% NTSC entry-level display available on other PA14260 configurations.

8MP HDR + IR Camera

Dell equips the Pro 14 Premium platform with an unusually capable conferencing camera.

Official specifications include:

• 8MP RGB HDR + IR
• 1440p video at 30fps
• Presence Detection
• Temporal Noise Reduction
• Camera shutter
• Microphone integration
• Facial recognition support

This is particularly valuable for users who spend significant amounts of time in:

• Teams
• Zoom
• Google Meet
• Client presentations
• Remote consulting
• Corporate meetings

Facial Recognition

The IR camera supports facial authentication, allowing compatible Windows Hello configurations to log the user in without repeatedly entering a password. Dell explicitly lists facial recognition on supported PA14260 camera configurations.

Wi-Fi 7

Wireless connectivity uses the Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE211 2×2 platform.

Wi-Fi 7 provides the wireless foundation for:

• High-throughput office networks
• Cloud applications
• Video conferencing
• Large network transfers
• Modern enterprise wireless environments

Dell’s platform documentation also lists Bluetooth support alongside the BE211 wireless implementation.

Thunderbolt 4 and USB4

The Dell Pro 14 Premium provides:

• 2 × Thunderbolt 4
• Up to 40Gbps
• USB4
• DisplayPort Alt Mode
• USB Power Delivery

It also includes:

• 1 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps with PowerShare
• 1 × HDMI 2.1
• Headset combo port

This makes the laptop particularly suitable for use with:

• Professional docking stations
• External monitors
• High-speed SSDs
• Conference-room hardware
• USB-C charging
• Desktop workstation setups

Zero-Lattice Keyboard

Dell equips the Pro Premium series with its Zero-Lattice Keyboard.

The platform uses battery-saving mini-LED keyboard backlighting, with a dedicated Copilot key. Dell states that its mini-LED backlight technology can reduce keyboard power consumption compared with conventional backlighting.

The near edge-to-edge key design also contributes to the unusually clean appearance visible in the supplied product photograph.

Premium Four-Speaker Audio

Dell lists:

• 2 × 2W tweeters
• 2 × 2W woofers
• Isolation-mounted speaker design
• Cirrus Logic audio hardware

on the Pro 14 Premium platform.

This four-speaker arrangement provides a more substantial audio system than the conventional two-speaker layout commonly found in business notebooks.

Premium Lightweight Construction

Dell describes the Pro 14 Premium as the lightest 14-inch model in the Dell Pro family, using extensive recycled magnesium in its premium chassis design.

For the Tandem OLED version, Dell specifies approximately:

• Width: 311.20mm
• Depth: 216.70mm
• Front height: 10.86mm
• Rear height: 14.59mm
• Peak height: 16.78mm
• Starting weight: 1.19kg

At around 1.19kg, this is remarkably light for a 14-inch touchscreen business laptop.
